The manga that was memed from hell to back is actually getting an anime. After 3 years, and 10 volumes out as of now, Kagurabachi is getting its own official anime.

Even though it was super hyped up in the beginning, I’m not sure if the memeing and hype was just the early honeymoon phase, or did the quality keep up. I know I’ll be checking it out to see at least what the first few chapter hype was all about, but after the 3 episode rule, I might have to drop it if it was just a meme afterall.

I don’t doubt that it’s going to be a great action series, but I’m not sure if it has anything beyond that. It might just be the next Solo Leveling. Has all the sauce, but no lasting flavors. It’s cool, but nothing I need to go back to. So we’ll see how this anime turns out April 27.
