Daemons of the Shadow Realm might be my favorite anime airing this season. I knew the writer of Fullmetal Alchemist and Silver Spoon knew how to cook (that’s not a woman joke), but I didn’t know she could cook this well. Two anime I truly enjoyed, and it already seems like this one is going to be added to the list.
Three episodes in, and I’m already begging for the next one. I’m super happy that this anime is getting 24 episodes, cause that just means we get to explore more of this story and characters. And that also means we have more time to spend with the hot, and wonderful female cast.
With only three episodes, it’s not like we know much about these female characters, but they’ve already caught my interest. And if you’ve been following my articles, you most likely already know who’s my favorite.
That’s right, Left is my tall, muscule mommy. I love her head strong attitude, and how she can become aloof with a snap of a finger, or from the sight of a car. She's the one I want to see more of the most. I only usually masterbate with my right hand, but I guess I’ll start using my LEFT!!!
Guess the joke didn't land.
The next girl is Asa, the main character's sister. Now don’t let her appearance fool you. She might look like a bad ass bitch with an eye-patch…which is mostly true, but like any little sister. She has a soft side. She’s not just some blood thirsty killer, she’s someone with a heart. And I’m excited to see the show flesh her out more.
But someone who is a blood thristy killer, Gabby. The cute, little gremlin of the series, who isn't afraid to bite. Literally. Even though she killed a whole village of people in the first episode, you still get this feeling that it’s more to her character. She doesn’t just seem like some psycho killer girl, hell, she even spared the children. A real villain would kill the kids too.
And Hana is the reliable big sister type. She is the one who seemingly is always going to try to set the group straight. She got a small bit of screentime in episode 3, so not much to report on her as of right now, but again, excited to see what’s done with her.
Now the big question, how well is this show going to do when it comes to NSFW art? I’ll be honest, it’s not like Fullmetal Alchemist had the biggest influx on NSFW art. It was very little, and I’m sad to say that I think it’s going to be the same for Daemons of the Shadow Realm. But who knows, we might be seeing a huge load of NSFW art during its 24 episode run. We’ll see, and I’ll be here to keep you all updated.
